Getting Your Estate Planning Sorted Is Simpler Than You Think

Many people put this off because they do not know where to start.

You might be wondering what information you need, how long it will take, whether you need a Will, Power of Attorney, Trusts, or wider estate planning, and whether everything can be done remotely.

The answer is simple: the journey starts with a free 15-minute call.

You do not need to have everything worked out before you speak to us. We will listen, ask the right questions and guide you through the options clearly and simply.

How It Works

Step 1

Step 1: Book a Free 15-Minute Call

The first step is to book a free 15-minute call.

This is a short, friendly conversation where we will take time to understand your requirements, answer your questions and explain the options available to you.

After the call, we will send you a clear summary of what we discussed, together with our recommendations and agreed next steps.

Step 2

Step 2: Taking Your Instructions

After your initial call, you will receive a summary of what we discussed, together with our recommendations and agreed next steps.

If you would like to go ahead, we will arrange a 30-minute appointment to take your full instructions.

Before that appointment, we will ask you to think about the key people you may want to include in your documents, such as your beneficiaries, executors, trustees, attorneys and guardians, where applicable.

During the appointment, we will talk everything through clearly, answer any questions you may have, and take the information we need to prepare your documents.

After the appointment, we will send you a written summary of your instructions so you can check names, spellings and key details before your documents are prepared.

Step 2
Step 3

Step 3: We Prepare and Send Your Documents

Once you have checked and approved the summary of your instructions, we will prepare your documents.

Your documents will be posted to you within a few days, together with a clear guide explaining how they should be signed, dated and witnessed correctly.

If you have chosen our document storage service, simply return the signed documents to us in the envelope provided and we will store them safely for you.

Once stored, you will receive confirmation by email, together with your storage letter and certificate from the National Will Register.

Ready To Proceed?

Some clients want to get their estate planning sorted quickly. This may be because of an upcoming hospital appointment, a trip abroad, a divorce, a house move, or simply because they have decided now is the right time to put things in place.

If that is the case, you can simply book a 30-minute appointment and we can take your instructions straight away.

Where possible, we can arrange for your documents to be prepared and posted the same day by next-day delivery.

FAQs About The Process

I’m Not Sure If I Need a Will

That is completely normal. Many people are unsure whether they need a Will, especially if they are married, own a home jointly, or assume everything would automatically pass to the right people.

A short call with us will help you understand whether a Will is needed and what else may be worth considering.

We will listen, ask the right questions, and explain everything clearly, so you can make the right decision for you.

How long does the whole process take?

The first call is a free 15-minute conversation.

It is designed to give us enough time to understand what you are looking for, answer your initial questions and explain the most suitable next steps.

If you decide to go ahead, we will then arrange a separate 30-minute appointment to take your full instructions.

What’s the difference between the 15-minute and 30-minute call?
  • 15-minute call: Initial conversation and guidance

  • 30-minute call: For people ready to proceed and give instructions
